  1. According to the analysis of various scientific research achievements data from 2006 to 2018 for more than 5 million scholars at 974 universities nationwide in the China University Scientific Research Achievements Statistical Analysis Database of CNKI, the WeChat public account Academic Ambition released the analysis report University Humanities and Social Sciences Scholars Journal Paper Ranking (2006-2018). Yu Minggui ranked sixth in the Business Administration discipline ranking and tenth in the Economics discipline ranking nationwide.

  2. In the 11th issue of 2015, Management World announced the list of the most cited papers for the 30th anniversary of its founding. The paper Political Connections, Institutional Environment, and Private Enterprise Bank Loans co-authored by Yu Minggui and Pan Hongbo, published in the 8th issue of Management World in 2008, was listed third with 942 citations. As of December 31, 2018, the paper has become the most cited paper since the founding of Management World with 1699 citations.

  3. According to the analysis of various scientific research achievements data from 2006 to 2018 for more than 5 million scholars at 974 universities nationwide in the China University Scientific Research Achievements Statistical Analysis Database of CNKI, the WeChat public account Economics and Management Home released the analysis report Top 100 Cited Papers in University Humanities and Social Sciences (2006-2018). The paper Political Connections, Institutional Environment, and Private Enterprise Bank Loans co-authored by Yu Minggui and Pan Hongbo, published in the 8th issue of Management World in 2008, ranked ninth in all humanities and social sciences papers from 2006 to 2018 with 1699 citations.
